Fun, cute style, simple. Does the game end with the eye? I can't seem to find anywhere else to explore. If this is meant to be expanded, I totally get it. The map has a lot of potential for more places to go! Even in this small version, there are thoughtful additions like the bridge you can lower for a backtracking shortcut. You can really see the consideration you have for your players!
I'm checking out the games from the last mini jam and this is genuinely so fun and charming! The presentation is so wonderful as well :)
Very fun little game. If it was built out more i would pay for it. Some npc challenges such as gathering resources (and each resource required a specific tool) would be cool and different ways to unlock the map such as unlock a bomb that was open a destructible wall. I wasn't the biggest fan of the secret rooms as I'm still not sure if i found them all. This could be solved by having a list of collectables/ achievements such as number of secret rooms found. But the secret rooms i found were in places that i would naturally collide with the wall which was good. Maybe the eye upgrade could show the secret rooms if you're within 5 blocks or something to make them easier to find.
You've definitely found everything there was to find! The eye is the final ability you can unlock, and there are just enough coins to purchase every ability
it is a fun little game, but i never did figure out what Eye(?) upgrade did
